Once again, Craftproducers will coordinate the Art and Craft component of the New England Home Show. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your work before 20, 0000 upscale customers in the middle of winter in New England. The booth fee is set at $325 for a 10x10 space, 400 watts of electricity, pipe and drape (8’ in back and 3’ sides). This fee is well below the normal fee for a booth at the show and is only available to bona fide artists, artisans, personal care and specialty food producers who apply through Craftproducers. This is the third year of integrating a Craft Marketplace into the Home Show. It has worked well for some and not for others. In general, in our first two years, Home Décor or Specialty Foods have done well. Other categories have been mixed but a large part of that has been the economy. Part of our job is to get the public used to seeing products that they can actually buy on the spot.

You will note that we have a concession from the Promoter: you will not have to be set up on Thursday. It is a long day and attendance has been weak. (In fact in 2013 it will be a three day show for all exhibitors.) You will be able to drive into the hall on Wednesday or you can get into the building Thursday morning before 11 or after 9 or again Friday morning between 8-11AM. If your booth and work is inside the building, you may set up on Thursday while the show is going on. This should save you a day of expenses and condense the show into more selling and less booth sitting.

Rich Castiglione is the Show Promoter and Craftproducers role is to help him in assembling the Craft Marketplace. He and his staff will take very good care of you once the show opens. Craftproducers will have someone there during set up to ensure that you are settled in and ready to go.

Given the reasonable booth fee, this show is well worth the risk and we recommend that you take advantage of it.
